About me
My name is Sullivan Barton, and I am a recent graduate with a degree in Fashion Design. I am currently based in Phoenix, but will be moving to New York City in early September.
As a fashion designer, I specialize in pattern making and creating garments or outfits that instill confidence in the wearer. I focus on creating garments and outfits that complement the wearer's body and create a pretty silhouette.
Multiple influences have shaped my design style. Growing up in an RV and traveling across the country to chase the dream of becoming a professional racer provided an interesting perspective and allowed me to see how lots of people from different areas dress. While traveling around the country, we would stop at skateparks to ride bikes and pass the time. This immersed me in multiple subcultures and still influences me to this day. As I continued to grow and expand my taste, I became very interested in classic tailoring and Japanese designers such as Yohji Yamamoto and Junya Wantnabe. As I design, I try to pull from all of these influences to create something unique and true to me.
Everything on this site has been designed or created by me. All garments were drafted, draped, cut, and sewn by me. For questions or inquiries, navigate to the contact page.
